FISH OIL PLUS PHOSPHOLIPIDS BOOSTS ATTENTION IN CHILDREN
Researchers in Israel tested the effect on attention span of giving 83 children aged 8 to 13, either a fish oil (EPA and DHA) supplement, or the fish oil together with a phospholipid (fatty substance found in eggs and organ meat) or a placebo (sugar pill). They found that the children on the combination got the most improvement, followed by those on the fish oil, whilst those on the sugar pill had no improvement at all.
